Terms of Service

Welcome to MEDLOCUM, the digital platform that enables healthcare institutions to connect with qualified medics for temporary shift coverage. By registering or using the Hospital App, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Overview

The MEDLOCUM Hospital App allows verified healthcare institutions to:

• Post, manage, and cancel shift openings
• Assign medics to shifts
• Track real-time shift status with GPS validation
• Receive performance reports and analytics
• Rate and review medics

2. Account Registration & Access

To access the Hospital App:

• You must represent a licensed healthcare facility
• You must provide accurate details: hospital name, type, location (GPS fetched), and a valid contact email
• You are responsible for the security of your account login credentials

3. Posting & Managing Shifts

• Shifts are created with specific medical cadre/sub-cadre requirements
• Shifts can be set to repeat on a daily basis with defined end dates
• The system allows real-time updates on medic check-in/out status
• Hospitals may cancel only upcoming shifts; cancellations reset the opening for reassignment

4. Medic Assignments

• The app allows you to manually assign medics based on profile, availability, and AI suggestions
• In the future, an AI matching engine may recommend top candidates based on proximity, rating, and experience

5. Real-Time Shift Tracking

• Shift status changes automatically when a medic checks in/out via GPS
• You'll receive alerts if a shift has not started or ended within expected timeframes
• All GPS-based location verifications are logged for audit and compliance purposes

6. Ratings & Feedback

• After each shift, you can rate medics on Punctuality, Skill, and Teamwork (1–5 stars + comments)
• Ratings contribute to the medic's overall matching score
• Feedback is used internally to improve matching quality

7. Data & Analytics

Your dashboard provides:

• Total shifts posted and filled
• Fill times, no-shows, and attendance stats
• Hospital rating trends and top-performing medics
• Access to reports including medic-submitted notes (where available)

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use false or misleading information when posting shifts
• Harass or discriminate against medics
• Circumvent the platform to hire outside MEDLOCUM channels

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

9. Limitation of Liability

MEDLOCUM is a technology platform. We are not responsible for:

• The clinical performance or behavior of medics
• Any operational issues between your institution and medics
• Losses incurred from shift no-shows or cancellations

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
